According to the internets, it's 28°C outside with 85% Humidity. I just read a thermometer inside the house that said 32°C, but I believe the humidity. However, the worst part is that there is no air movement.
I've been watching the clouds, and what they're up to annoys me. They let the sun through for around 10 mins, just long enough for things to start getting warmer, then they close over and keep the heat in. I wish they'd either rain or go away.
And according to weather.com.au, 6 of the next 7 days will be humid. Yeah, I'd believe it.
We seriously need to get aircon in this house
Edit: Finally, a storm. *Unplugs computers*

Over here in Perth it hardly gets Humid. I remember though when I lived over in Queensland for a little while how bloody humid it was! We had no aircon either so had to resort to one of those hairdressing spray bottles full of water and a $16 fan.
I'm sure you've tried that method. Hopefully things cool down for you.

I think Perth is a warm temperate climate, while QLD is sub-tropical/tropical. Not to mention, you have the doctor
I haven't resorted to spray bottles yet, but plenty of fans. I also have cold showers (or lukewarm, since the lazy builders don't insulate the pipes!).
Thankfully, they can only get cooler from now. It really has been the hottest week of the year. Still, it'll be a while before it becomes pleasant.

I remember that the Sydney area was quite humid in summer, but anything seems hot and humid when you've just arrived from NZ or Tassie. And anywhere south would probably be slightly more bearable than that.
